The Opportunity
As a Service Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining our beautiful communities, ensuring our residents receive fast, professional service while keeping the property’s buildings, grounds, and equipment in peak condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Maintenance – Maintain and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC equipment, and exterior buildings to ensure top-quality operations.
- Preventative Maintenance – Schedule and perform routine maintenance to proactively address potential issues before they arise.
- Service Requests – Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance needs, ensuring satisfaction and efficiency.
- Apartment Turnovers – Prepare market-ready apartments by performing repairs, installations, and inspections.
- Safety & Compliance – Adhere to OSHA safety standards, company policies, and Fair Housing regulations.
- Grounds & Community Upkeep – Keep property clean and well-maintained, including snow removal and seasonal pool maintenance where applicable.
- On-Call Rotation – Be available for emergency maintenance needs as part of an on-call schedule.
- Customer Service Focus – Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents, vendors, and team members.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1-2 years of property maintenance experience or related field.
- EPA HVAC Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months, paid by the company).
- Ability to handle basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred (if the community has a pool).
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality.
